Why I’m Bothered By The Wow Green Compensation Plan
As usual, the Wow Green compensation plan shows that the same old ideas are just plain too profitable to disappear. Just like the programs you might recall from the 1970′s, the plan is all about talking other people into selling what you’re selling.
That’s right: creating your own competition is what the Wow Green compensation plan is all about. Let’s forget about why exactly you would do that, and ask a more important question instead: why does the Wow Green compensation plan expect you to do that?
It’s not hard to understand why. When you think about it, Wow Green doesn’t want to do all the work – or spend all the money – to promote their own brand. They want people like you to do it. So their compensation plan, radical as it may seem, encourages you to go out and create more people to put the Wow Green name in front of even more people.
Let’s consider that for a little while. The Wow Green compensation plan doesn’t really compensate that heavily, does it? Definitely a lot less than you’d pay for market saturation from a major advertising firm – I mean, they only pay out a percentage of your sales. They don’t need to pay you anything until you sell some of their products, and even then, they’re paying you a lot less than the sale price.
Isn’t that just the coolest idea? The Wow Green compensation plan actively demands that YOU pay for THEIR promotional campaign, and even recruit more people to do the same. You spend all the money, and you do all the work! That’s just an awesome concept!
Unless, of course, you’re… you. Then it seems like a pretty unfair thing to do. Why would you do that? Success isn’t a matter of promoting someone else’s brand. You’ll be watching your margins shrink and your profits disappear, and their brand will get stronger than ever on the shoulders of a teeming mass – fighting valiantly to carve out a bigger piece of a smaller pie. The Wow Green compensation plan quite ingeniously ensures that you take all the risk, and do all the work, until you give up altogether.
So instead of using the Wow Green compensation plan that way, why not concentrate your effort on promoting yourself? It’s no more difficult, than promoting Wow Green, and the benefit is actually something you can keep. When eco-friendly cleaners lose their shine… and their profit margin… you can keep the benefit you’ve generated for your business, and use it to promote the next big thing.
There’s nothing wrong with promoting yourself. It’s the single more important ingredient of a long-term business – your ability to market and promote yourself is what really matters, and promoting someone else will not help you win this game. Put that effort behind your own personal brand, and you’ll outlast fads, while building a network marketing business that will truly endure.
