  I met Tom at a Dani Johnson convention a couple of years back, and I can say from personal experience that I’ve never met a better phone sponsor (sorry Mike Dillard).  However, there are some strengths and weaknesses to what he has to say.

Who is Tom Challan?

Tom Challan is a MLM guru who works in association with Dani Johnson. Tom Challan is one of the greatest sponsors of al time – sponsoring more than 500 people in a year of part time work. Tom independently owns and operates a lead generation company called Earn Pro Leads, and also offers On The Job Training to his students.

What are Tom Challan’s teachings?

The three fundamental areas of Tom Challan’s teachings are prospecting, closing, and outsourcing. In the past, he did a prospecting and closing class for Dani Johnson that cost $297 per class and ran over a period of 4 weeks. Tom Challan’s prospecting classes are made up mostly of live role playing mixed with one on one training. Tom is now more focused on building his own company and still works with Dani Johnson at the events.

His simple, yet powerful prospecting methods use questions, listening, and intuition to connect with the prospects CORE beliefs before presenting your business. Tom has a conversational recruiting approach – adapting his tonality and questions to the personality of the prospect.

Tom’s method is unique in the world of MLM. Tom actually outsources almost all of his training to Dani – and ALL he does is prospect and close over the phone.

It’s amazing the results that Tom had from his unique system: growing an organization to 20,000 in one year entirely from cold leads.

Is Tom Challan the real deal?

I actually got to have several personal conversations with Tom Challan in 2008 over several Dani Johnson events. I’ve actually never met someone who has studied with Tom Challan for a long time who has not been successful in their business.

I would have to say that Tom is one of the best examples in the MLM profession.

There is one thing that would be greatly beneficial if you decide to use Tom Challan’s method:

Tom recommends doing a majority of your recruiting from purchased leads. Now this approach has worked for some (like Tom Challan and other gurus), however it is expensive and frustrating – usually lacking in any real results.) Recruiting people from these bought generic home business companies is like trying to climb a mountain with no shoes – you’ll get bloody before you go anywhere.

Learn how to generate leads online as well if you’re going to spend time learning Tom’s approach – it will pay off big time.

Generating your own leads like that are less expensive than generic leads, and they have higher closing ratios too.
